Green propolis is produced by bees from collecting sap from the Alecrim-do-Campo plant. It is a plant native to Brazil, and most abundant in the state of Minas Gerais. This type of propolis is well known for containing a phenolic compound that other types do not have, Artepelin-C, which gives green propolis a boost in its actions on the body.
